COVID-19 Deferment Program

We are here to help

As we work as a community to fight the spread of Coronavirus (COVID19), we are wishing you safety and well-being during this time and remind you we are here to help.  Please note that interest continues to accrue during the deferment period and may result in a balloon payment at loan maturity.

Loan Payments

If your financial situation prevents you from resuming your payments to your loan, you may email a request to deferment@pfcguam.com  and provide the following information:

  • Your full name 
  • Contact number
  • Employer name (if applicable)
  • Employment status (i.e. laid off/reduced hours/furloughed, etc)
  • Hardship statement

A representative will be in contact with you regarding your COVID-19 Relief request upon receipt of the information above once we are back in operation.  

PUA program

Alternatively, if you have experienced a reduction of your work hours, was laid off or are now unemployed due to this COVID-19 crisis, we highly recommend you to take advantage of the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program (PUA) by applying at www.hireguam.com

For those enrolled under an automatic payment arrangement

If your account is currently enrolled under an automatic payment arrangement (ACH) and are unable to make payments, you must email us at deferment@pfcguam.com to temporarily suspend your deduction. 

For those enrolled under an Employer Payroll Deduction Program

If your account is under an Employer Payroll Deduction program, you must contact your employer directly to temporarily suspend your deductions.
